For years I have been dreaming of going to illustration school, to pursue my dream of illustrating children’s books. During the first months of pandemics, amidst cancelled plans & copious amounts of time at home with my family, I finally made the space to begin my journey. However, with three little ones & with my work at ELLA’s community library, I’ve decided to send myself through my own illustration school…from home. Here are some of the exercises and experiments I’ve been working on to build my illustrator-muscles.
